Hyundai Hope on Wheels

This National Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, Hyundai Motor America, its non-profit organization Hyundai Hope On Wheels (HHOW), and is 830+ dealers will award $13.2 million new grants to support groundbreaking research and treatment options – marking 21 years in the fight to end childhood cancer since 1998.

There are many handprints in the fight to find a cure which is why the campaign theme for 2019 is “Every Handprint Tells A Story.”Hyundai Hope on Wheels will continue its grants tour to children’s hospitals and institutions across the country throughout the month of September.

At each event, HHOW hosts its signature handprint ceremony inviting youth cancer fighters to place their hands in paint and place it on the HHOW vehicles of hope. These vehicles serve as a canvas for hope, covered with handprints collected from children across the country battling this disease. These color handprints represent the dreams, journey and hopes of kids fighting cancer.
