Hyundai Hope On Wheels

Hope On Wheels kicks off its 20th anniversary year from the upcoming NY Auto Show,
introduce new youth ambassadors and continues the fight to end childhood cancer.

Organization will announce plans to exceed $145 million toward pediatric cancer research.

WHAT: Every 36 minutes a child in the U.S. is diagnosed with pediatric cancer — that’s 15,000 children per year. In its effort to combat childhood cancer, Hyundai Motor America and its non-profit organization Hope on Wheels (HHOW) will award grants to almost 70 children hospitals and research institutions around the nation, marking the 20th anniversary in consecutive year of the donations.

Scott Fink, chairman, Hyundai Hope on Wheels talks about how the grants are supporting hospitals and medical professionals, funding innovation and research in the field, changing the lives in children with cancer and increasing awareness one handprint at a time. We also speak to Carter Gates, 12-year old Youth Ambassador and Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia survivor.
