Kia Fashion Week

Fashion week is underway but it’s not all about clothes this time. It’s still sleak. It’s fast. Certainly faster than most runway models. Kia, partnered with fashion designer Brandon Maxwell to create it’s latest model – the Telluride.

Models come in all shapes and sizes. But it was an unexpected model that rolled into New York City during this year’s Fashion Week.

Teaming up with fashion designer Brandon Maxwell, Kia debuted it’s 2020 Telluride. The bespoke SUV was influenced by the same inspiration seen in Maxwell’s Spring Summer 2019 collection.

The latest car drew influence from Maxwell’s Texas roots — saddle-like leather accents. natural wood interior trim and custom front and rear bumpers. Like any good garment, these are some of the little details that help make a true statement piece.

And of course in true Texas fashion, the vehicle is ready for some off-roading.

The 8-passenger Telluride production model will be assembled at Kia Motors Manufacturing facility in Georgia.

The event wasn’t all about the fashion though. Maxwell and Kia also are teaming to donate to the public school system of Marfa, Texas – where Maxwell designed his latest 2019 clothing collection.
