PROFESSIONAL EATERS TEAM UP WITH NATHAN’S FAMOUS FOR MLB ALL-STAR WEEKEND

Major League Baseball All-Star festivities this year included a record-breaking event and exhibition with seven top international hot dog eating champions.

Nathan’s Famous® is hosting a Hot Dog Eating Exhibition during Major League Baseball’s (MLB) All-Star Weekend. The festivities are taking place at the Miami Beach Convention Center as a part of the MLB All-Star FanFest Activities, leading to the July 11th All-Star Game. The exhibition will include International Hot Dog Eating Champions Joey Chestnut, Miki Sudo, and Matt Stonie, and others. Chestnut recently claimed his record 10th Championship in Coney Island, gobbling 72 hot dogs in 10 minutes.

The participants will work together to set a new Nathan’s Famous Record for the Most Quarter-Pound Hot Dogs eaten in five minutes. And it’s all for a good cause. Nathan’s Famous also donated $20,000 to Major League Baseball’s (MLB) RBI program, which promotes the game of baseball to teenage boys and girls in disadvantaged areas.
