As America Gears Up for National School Choice Week, NSCW President Andrew Campanella Encourages Parents To Learn More About School Choice Options for Their Children

A Parent’s Guide to National School Choice Week. More than 32,000 events will be held during National School Choice Week, and there are lots of ways for families to make the most of the Week. Andrew can explain how parents can find an event at a school, community center, or capitol building near them to explore school options. He will also discuss resources parents can use to navigate all their school options – from traditional public to charter, magnet, online, private, and homeschooling.

National School Choice Week is a nonpartisan, nonpolitical public awareness effort that shines a positive spotlight on effective education options for children, including traditional public schools, public charter schools, public magnet schools, private schools, online learning, and homeschooling.

BIO: ANDREW CAMPANELLA
Andrew Campanella has served as president of National School Choice Week since 2012. An enthusiastic advocate for educational opportunity, Andrew has led National School Choice Week (NSCW) during a time of remarkable growth.
From 150 events in 2011 to 32,000 in 2018, NSCW has quickly become the world’s largest education-related public awareness effort. Before joining the NSCW team, Andrew worked in senior level positions at two national nonprofit organizations focused on K-12 education. In these roles,Andrew worked to help enroll students in school choice programs and to recruit new teachers for public schools.
Andrew grew up in southern New Jersey and attended traditional public schools from grades K-12. He graduated from American University in Washington, D.C. and currently lives in Blue Mountain Beach, Florida.
