SPAM® MUSEUM HOSTS FIRST-EVER WEDDING FOR LOYAL FAN, MARK I LOVE SPAM BENSON

Your wedding day is one of the biggest days of your life filled with the people you love the most. For SPAM® Brand enthusiast, Mark I Love Spam Benson – who last year legally changed his name as a declaration of his love for the brand this meant including his favorite food as well. Benson and his fiancée, Anne Mousley will be the first couple to say their “I-do’s” at the world-famous SPAM® Museum in Austin, MN. The soon-to-be newlyweds, who hail from Liverpool, U.K. are fulfilling Mark’s dream of a SPAM® Brand-themed wedding, complete with a SPAMinister, and a one-of-a kind setting adorned with iconic brand memorabilia.

Mark’s love for the brand is rooted in family tradition, with his grandfather and uncle both having worked at a Liverpool SPAM® manufacturer, and the brand has become a part of many fond memories over the years. Knowing her groom would love nothing more than a SPAM® Brand themed wedding, Anne reached out to the brand with the request to be the first couple to ever celebrate their wedding at the new SPAM® Museum. After learning about the couple’s story, the brand agreed to make it a reality and Anne surprised Mark with the exciting news on Valentine’s Day.

This wasn’t your typical wedding (something old, something new, something borrowed… ) but there was a lot of blue featured at the I Love Spam Benson wedding!  The cake donned the SPAM logo, the flowers were a beautiful yellow and blue, and even Mark’s tie featured the SPAM colors and logo!  The bride and groom tell us they couldn’t be happier!
