“A Quiet Place” Released on DVD

A Quiet Place, the blockbuster film about a family who must live its life in silence to avoid mysterious creatures, earned over 300-million dollars worldwide.

The newly released 4K Ultra HD and Blu-Ray combo packs take viewers behind-the-scenes to see how the cast and crew created a distinct atmosphere on set using unique sound design and visual effects.

The cast learned sign language for the project. Actress Millicent Simmonds, who is deaf, plays the daughter. At the anechoic chamber at Orfield Labs in Minneapolis, where all you hear are the sounds of your own body, she emphasized the opportunity to showcase the deaf community on screen.

A Quiet Place is directed and co-written by John Krasinski, who also stars in alongside his wife Emily Blunt. Relive the terror at home when Paramount Studios releases the thriller on DVD starting July 10th.
