Back to School Tools to Help Classrooms Go Green

So many teachers out there don’t have enough resources to create the hands on learning experiences that they want to give kids in the classroom. That’s why Charles Best, Founder of DonorsChoose.org, is excited about a new way for teachers and kids to get hands-on tools for really memorable classroom projects that help students learn about the planet.

Charles used to be a public school history teacher and he understands how powerful hands-on learning is for students, but public school teachers often need help funding these important projects for their classes since many schools don’t have the budget for them. To help make a difference, he’s asking that parents, teachers and community members to help get the word out and has a few simple ways to be a part of helping this cause.
