KIDS4COMMUNITY TEACHES KIDS TO GIVE BACK

Teen, Kenan Pala, Starts Non-Profit to Teach Youth the Importance of Giving Back

Kids4Community is a non-profit founded by 13 year old Kenan Pala
The mission is to teach youth the importance of giving back to the community
Kenan is always thinking of new ways to help those who less fortunate. Kenan and his peers from Kids4Community assembled approximately 5,000 hygiene kits for children affected by the natural disaster in Texas, Florida, Mexico and Puerto Rico
Kids4Community received a $25,000 donation worth of toys and personal items. Kenan and his peers stuffed holiday stockings with the donation and distributed them to homeless families and children in his community.
Last year, he led a drive that collected 6,000 boxes of cereal for local soup kitchens. The students assembled 4,000 empty cereal boxes on the school’s gymnasium floor, a feat that set the Guinness World Record as the largest cardboard box mosaic.
In Kenan’s spare time, he enjoys doing triathlons. He immediately noticed there weren’t many options for kids and teens so he decided to design apparel himself which is sold on his website. All proceeds will be donated to charitable causes.
