National Payroll Week Paycheck Check-Up

National Payroll Week is an annual celebration during the week of Labor Day that recognizes the hard work of America’s 150 million wage earners and the payroll professionals who prepare their paychecks accurately, on time, every time. Founded by the American Payroll Association, National Payroll Week encourages everyone who works to do a “paycheck checkup.” The goal is to look for simple ways to maximize earnings and boost savings.

The American Payroll Association’s William Dunn, CPP, explains why it’s important for every person to understand their paycheck. Learn why the APA believes in the power of the paycheck, and is giving one lucky person an EXTRA paycheck and a dream vacation for participating in the annual National Payroll Week “Getting Paid In America” survey on nationalpayrollweek.com. This year, the APA along with program sponsor, Workday, is offering scholarships to high school and college students who respond to a short quiz from the APA about how paychecks work.
