Visit Panama City Beach

Dan Rowe, President/CEO of Visit Panama City Beach want you to help a local economy and get the best deals for a beach vacation.

Hurricane Michael, the third most powerful hurricane to strike the US and worst to ever strike the Florida Panhandle left an estimated 25 billion dollars in damage and 75 dead. The worst hit areas were Mexico Beach and Panama City, but miraculously, Panama City Beach survived virtually undamaged. Today the beach is back to business and ready for visitors in the Spring and Summer as well as for a wide variety of events and activities taking place in the region such as UnWine 2019 and Sand Jam.

Tourism is vital to the region’s rebuilding efforts as a vast majority of the folks working in the various service industries along the beach live in Panama City and face the cost of rebuilding.
